The Xmas social reading game on Betwyll is back: from 1 to 24 December read and comment on Fyodor Dostoevsky’s White Nights.
It was a wonderful night, such a night as is only possible when we are young, dear reader.
On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the great Russian writer’s birth, we decided to dedicate the 2021 edition of Xmas Twylls, the usual Christmas social reading game on Betwyll, to White Nights, an early short story by Fyodor Dostoevsky set in Saint Petersburg. Four nights where fantasies, hopes, reflections on life and love intertwine in the talks of the two young protagonists: a shy and solitary dreamer and a girl with a secret.
